Privacy notice

This is the personal website of Scott Ricamore, Richardson, Texas. For any privacy question or request, use the contact form.

This site is designed to collect as little information as practical. It does not use advertising trackers, marketing pixels, social-media widgets, or cross-site cookies. It necessarily processes some limited data, described below — no website that serves pages and receives messages can honestly claim to collect "no data."

Hosting and infrastructure

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like all web infrastructure, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP addresses and request headers) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics

The only analytics this site uses is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-oriented service that reports aggregate page performance and traffic. Cloudflare states that its beacon does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint individual visitors. No advertising or cross-site tracking analytics are used.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, the information you provide (inquiry type, name, email, optional organization, and message) is validated and delivered to Scott by email through a transactional email provider. It is used only to read and respond to your inquiry. Contact submissions are not stored in a database on this site, are not added to any marketing list, and are not shared with any campaign system.

Scheduling

If you choose to schedule a meeting through the "Meet for coffee" link, scheduling is provided by Calendly, which processes the information you enter to book the time. Calendly's assets load only after you click the scheduling link. See Calendly's privacy policy.

Anti-bot protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated abuse. Turnstile evaluates technical signals from your browser to make that determination. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Retention

Contact messages are retained in email for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for reasonable personal record-keeping, then deleted. Aggregate analytics contain no personally identifying information.

Your choices

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have sent through this site, send a note through the contact form and the request will be honored to the extent applicable.
